Understanding Your Counseling Investment
Rates and Insurance Information
Insurance Accepted
We are considered an “out-of-network” provider for all other PPO insurance plans. This means a portion of our fee is typically covered after your deductible has been met. You will be responsible to pay the full fee upfront for each session. Then we will provide you with a superbill at the end of each session for you to then submit to your insurance company for reimbursement
- Aetna
- Anthem (Blue Cross Blue Shield)
- Beacon Health
- HealthNet
- Magellan Healthcare
- MHN

You can check your coverage by asking your insurance company the following questions:
- Do I have mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many mental health sessions per calendar year does my insurance plan cover?
- How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network mental health provider?
- How do I obtain reimbursement for counseling with an out-of-network provider?
- What is the coverage amount per counseling session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
- Does my plan cover teletherapy services?
Self-Pay
Another option is to be a SELF-PAY client. In this scenario, you are guaranteed the greatest level of privacy, flexibility and control over your treatment and mental health records as nothing will be reported to your health insurance or employers. If you choose to pay for your session, I accept Health Savings Accounts, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
Please contact us if finances are a concern. We reserve a limited number of reduced-fee appointment slots. We do our best to make sure finances don’t prevent you from getting the help and support you need.
