Let me tell you what sets me apart from other therapists and why I am the right therapist for you. I work with individuals, families, and couples who are experiencing distressing mental, emotional, or spiritual challenges. My experience has taught me that each individual knows what is the best for their life, but sometimes life gets complicated. What you need is someone to guide you and teach you more tools to be successful. My style of therapy is collaborative and trauma informed. My goal is to provide you a safe place, so that you can reach your goals. When you are ready, I want you to know I’m ready to help guide you to the freedom you so desire.
Wouldn’t you feel ecstatic if you could just manage stressful situations as they arise rather than having them overwhelm and paralyze you? Can you imagine what it would feel like to go to a grocery store and not have a panic attack? What about going on a date and just enjoying each moment without wondering how it’s going to end? Instead, you feel broken like you don’t do anything right. The symptoms leave you with guilt, shame, and self-doubt. It’s taken over your life. You don’t recognize yourself anymore. It has changed your personality and you don’t enjoy the things that once brought you joy. Did you know it doesn’t have to be this way anymore? Things can be better!
I started my educational journey young and changed my path many, many times. I received my Associates degree, from the University of Arkansas-Beebe and Bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix within three years. I quickly obtained Masters in Psychology, from Chapman University in 2010. I have worked with clients in several states in the Court systems, Psychiatric facilities (treating Active Duty/Veterans), Military and Family Life Counselor contracts, and private practice. I have served others through individual, group and couples counseling. I love what I do and can’t believe I get to wake up and do it every day
