Each individual is on a different journey in life and the same should be true of the counseling process. I believe counseling is about hand picking what is best and most comfortable for the individual on their journey. This is why I believe in an eclectic approach to counseling enabling me to tailor counseling to the needs and comforts of YOU the client. We will work together to come up with the best plan for YOU.
I tend to use a combination of cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral, mindfulness, EMDR and Gottman method to make a treatment plan that will best meet YOUR needs
We will begin our process together with a biopsychological assessment. From there, we will discover your strengths and weaknesses and establish a plan of treatment to bring about the changes YOU are desiring. I believe that overcoming our weaknesses can make us even better!
Often in life, we think we do not need help and we continue faking it and struggling inside to make it. The biggest strength you can have is to reach out for the support that is right in front of you and learn the strategies to win the war that you are battling.
